Passenger & light commercial vehicle brake test

ECE 90 Brake testing is also equipped to conduct dynamic brake tests on light motor vehicles. Tests which are able to be conducted are tests such as stopping distance tests from various speeds with various brake input forces and the effect that hot brakes can have on these stopping distances.

Parameters that can be monitored and logged using Racelogic GPS and data logging equipment are

1. Brake pedal applied force
2. Brake line hydraulic pressure
3. Brake temperature
4. Speed
5. Stopping distance
