Dynamometer brake tests are conducted to demonstrate compliance with various industry and statutory specifications and requirements.
The dynamometer is currently programmed to conduct tests on brake pads and brake linings for light passenger vehicles according to the requirements of the Economic Commission for Europe Regulation 90, Australian Design Rule ADR 31/01 Annex 7 and to the South African compulsory specification applicable to replacement brake lining assemblies as published in Notice No. R95 appearing in Government Gazette No. 22014 dated 2 February 2001.
The dynamometer tests performed are primarily conducted on the brake pads and brake linings for light passenger vehicles however scale tests can also be conducted on brake friction material for larger applications.
Max power 35 kW
